So what do you do when your formally trusty NAS dies and is no longer supported? You can buy a replacement or go the hacker route, and spend the next few days, and then weeks, making the perfect replacement: a UFO inspired clock with a Raspberry Pi 4-powered NAS embedded in the middle. The UFO can also accept pixel data via OPC {Open Pixel Control) over a wired or wireless network and be part of a bigger light display.

At Planet Zarg we love using the Raspberry Pi in our projects! You can view a write-up for this project at the Hackaday UFO project page.

We are delighted to say that this project has now been featured in Issue 92 of The MagPi, the official Raspberry Pi magazine.
